Basic Information

The Arkansas Canoe Club’s School of River Paddling is designed to introduce basic paddling techniques on Class I+ rivers. Contained in these pages is information that should be read by each person registering for the school.

• When:   June 5th-7th, 2026

• Where:  Rocky Springs RV Ranch 17094 Martin Pedro Rd, Siloam Springs, AR.

  • Rocky Springs features a field event area for camping with a pavilion in the middle for our group meetings and meals.

• Camping: Included with the event fee and is all day Friday, Saturday and through Sunday.

  • There are no electric sites.

    • Prepare to bring battery operated fans, propane for cooking, canopies for shade, etc.

    • Small campers and vans are welcome to boondock.

• Cost:  You must be a current member of the Arkansas Canoe Club before you can register for the School of River Paddling. ACC Household Membership covers you and two additional members living in your household. If you are not already a member of the ACC, please visit the Membership section of our Web site.

• Registration:

The event fee for the School of River Paddling is $125.00.

On line Registration will open 12:01am on May 4th, 2026

The following is required to register for the School of River Paddling:

• Completed Event Registration and Payment (completed online at this Web site)

• Receipt of a SIGNED Arkansas Canoe Club Waiver and Release of Liability.  

• Current Member of the Arkansas Canoe Club
