Chapter Meetings
The Central Arkansas Chapter of the Arkansas Canoe Club meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at Wrights BBQ at 1311 Rebsamen Park Rd. Check our our Central Chapter Facebook Page for updates as well. Our meetings begin at 7:00 P.M. but we encourage folks to arrive early to eat and socialize.
The BBQ is good, the beer and soda pop are cold, and the programs are as informative as possible. You won't find a better group of folks anywhere. Come and bring a friend. You won't regret it!!
Roll Sessions
The Central Chapter has access to the UALR pool for roll practice during the fall and spring semesters. Check the Pool Sessions in Little Rock page for more info. As of 2022, we have access to Lake Nixon Day Camp for summer flatwater activities and roll sessions. Those too are on Wednesday nights from 6 PM to 8 PM. Lake Nixon is at 18500 Cooper Orbit Road in West Little Rock.
Central Chapter boat fleet
Thanks to a generous donation by paddler Trey Moore of North Little Rock, the Central Chapter now owns a Jackson Dynamic Duo, Tandem Whitewater Kayak. Any dues paying Central Chapter member can use it anytime.
