Lodging is the responsibility of each participant. The ACC encourages participants to camp at Riverside Resort. There is a tent camping fee of $8 per night per person plus tax. Reservations for tent camping are not accepted. There also is an RV area and some small camper cabins (reservations required) for an extra fee. For information call 870-625-7501.

Please note that Riverside charges a day use fee of $5 per day for those who do not stay at Riverside. This applies to all three days of River School - Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

    No pets are allowed.

The facilities at Riverside Resort include bathrooms with showers for men and women along with Port-a-potties. Riverside Resort sells firewood, but it is best to bring your own charcoal or stove. People just camp wherever they can find a spot, but look for vehicles with canoes and kayaks if you want to camp with our group.

With the exception of Saturday night’s catered dinner, students will be responsible for providing all of their own meals. Breakfast may be eaten at the campsite or at nearby restaurants in Hardy, but don’t be late. Remember, the clinic starts each day at 8 a.m. Lunches most likely will be eaten on the river, so bring a waterproof bag to keep lunch dry and secured in your boat. Do not forget water or other quality hydration.  Saturday night's dinner will be provided for all registered participants and staff.  Additional Saturday night meal tickets for non-registered guests can be purchased for $7 when you check-in on Friday.
