Canoe Instructors

Will do short clinics on Lake Atalanta in Rogers or Lake Bella Vista in Bentonville in late afternoons on weekdays. ACC membership required for clinics, no other fee. Some loaner equipment available.
River Paddling Instruction limited to those who have demonstrated basic control on the lake and are members of both ACC and ACA, no other fee.
I especially enjoy helping those who are interested in becoming an instructor and are curious about what to do.

Will do private instruction for a reasonable fee to be mutually agreed upon. I will occasionally do volunteer instruction for groups such as the Boy Scouts, church youth groups etc. Instruction can be as brief as a 2 hour session on the Arkansas River or a full day on an Arkansas Stream. The Ouachita River and the Rockport rapid are favorite teaching locations. I have some limited gear that can be borrowed.
